| | | Consultation with Set Apart Ministries
When
you contact us about a concern you are having with your fellowship
group, Barbara Klika, MSW will be available to prayerfully discuss what
is happening.
Immediate Needs Addressed
The
immediate need is always the first priority, thus the conversation
would be about the specifics of what has happened, attempts at
resolution and their results and so forth. This may involve
conversation with the one who has made the call only, or as it appears
necessary, additional conversation with others to clarify the situation.
It would always be helpful to provide a summary, verbally or in
writing, about your fellowship history and current status.
Most
groups at sometime or another find themselves engaged in an unexpected
conflict. This questionnaire is one place to begin to sort out all the
factors that need attention. Click here for our Crisis Management Questionnaire.
It may be enough to point you in the right direction. If you would like
assistance, it can be a starting point for consultation with Barbara
Klika, MSW, LCSW, Personal Life Coach. Click here for our Contact Page to send an email to Barb or call her at 920-336-7005
Barb
will draw on her experience dealing with group dynamics both in a
Messianic community and in other group settings in order to explore and
facilitate increased understanding of what has happened and what needs
to happen to bring resolution and closure.
After Set Apart
Ministries has made a visit to your fellowship, we would appreciate
feedback and suggestions to continually improve our services. Please
click here for the Feedback Form.
Additional
resources may become a part of the initial consultation as discussed
with each person. This may include suggestions for reading,
personal communication exercises, consultation with professionals in the
fellowship's community, referral to resources such as our Life Model
materials and groups or the THRIVE conferences.
Beyond the Immediate Need
When
resolution has been reached for the immediate concerns, if the leader
initiating the contact chooses to do so, we would then move into a more
pro-active mode. While our primary concern remains that of the spiritual
maturity and foundation of any group, there are other aspescts that
contribute to understanding and growth in related areas
Stability
and functionality in a group rest on many things. Our coaching
assistance includes working together with your leadership people
to determine:
~ mission statement established ~ ability to communicate mission statement effectively ~ organizational development and maturity ~ personal maturity ~ leadership style ~ evaluation of group members overall maturity and needs ~ conflict resolution skills including an awareness of brain function and reactivity ~
understanding and application of appropriate boundaries over many
types of situations as well as the ability to teach appropriate
boundary setting
By addressing concerns at this level, looking to
see where there may be vulnerabilities, BEFORE PROBLEMS ARISE, we have
greater hope of preventing the kind of struggles that can so easily tear
up our fellowship groups.
Barbara Klika has expertise and
professional background in addressing these concerns to bring to the
table for discussion and development of plans, yet this process is
highly collaborative with the goal of reaching a mutually established
understanding and YHWH-pleasing plan of action. Through the assessment
of these factors, in the Presence of the Ruach ha Kodesh, we can work
together toward growing up in every way into Him Who is our Head,
Messiah! |
